has occurred to us that a portable IV Warmer, one you can easily carry to the
rescue operations ground would be a nice option. We set out to build one
and have come up with an excellent IV Warmer that fits in the bottom of a Plano
747.
The
PAK 2 IV Warmer, by Smithworks is user friendly, assures accurate warming of
your IV solutions, and maintains a normal body temperature for year round rapid
interventions of shock, burn patients, pediatric emergencies , geriatric care,
and care of patients unable to maintain normal body temperature, as well as
environmental emergencies.
Controlled to a temperature range of 36 to 38
degrees Celsius (99 to 101 degrees F) the PAK2 IV Warmer delivers a thermal
normal IV solution consistently. This helps to reduce the risk of induced or
secondary hypothermia while providing great patient comfort.
