Thermal Sack Pressure Infuser
"a thermal maintenance device"

 |
The Thermal Sack Pressure Infuser (TSPI) is designed
for use in wilderness rescue operation, rescue operations where ambient
temperature will have a detrimental effect on the temperature of the
warmed fluid to be infused, or operations where the rescue requires
rapid infusions of warm fluids. |
 |
 |
The Thermal Sack Pressure Infuser (TSPI) is designed
to be a thermal maintenance device, used with the Floormount iv fluid
warmer, the Soft Sack iv fluid warmer, or the PAK 2 iv fluid warmer, all
products of The Smithworks Company. |
| It should be clearly understood the
Thermal Sack Pressure Infuser (TSPI) is a thermal maintenance tool.
It is not a stand alone device. The operator should understand
that when an emergency happens, it's too late to start to warm the
fluids to be infused. The initial heating of fluids in the "TSPI"
is not encouraged by Smithworks. The rate of rise of temperature
of a cold liter of fluid is about 1/2 of a degree Fahrenheit per minute. |
